Fondue with goat cheese

Ingredients

  • 350 g Vleit goat cheese extra mature (grated)
  • 350 g goat cheese Italian herbs (grated)
  • 200 ml of white wine
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Fresh thyme
  1. Rub the inside of the pan with garlic. Pour the wine into the pan and bring it to the boil.
  2. Add the cheese one handful at a time over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is homogeneous. If possible, the fondue can be thickened with cornstarch dissolved in water or wine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and add fresh thyme if desired.
  4. Place suitable products for dipping on the table. Such as artichoke hearts, toast, cucumber, cauliflower and tomatoes.
  5. Ignite the burner of the fondue set. The flame must be weak because the fondue must not reach the boiling point. Place the pan on the burner and enjoy!
