Nothing is as delicious as a homemade cheese fondue! Have the cheese freshly grated at your store and prepare it à la minute. With your favorite vegetables, bread and meat for dipping, this is a real treat! Very tasty with a glass Grüner Veltliner.

There's nothing like a homemade cheese fondue, made with freshly grated cheese from your Zuivelhoeve Shop. Let the flavors merge in a warm, creamy fondue prepared à la minute. Serve with crusty bread, seasonal vegetables, and cold cuts for dipping. Delicious with a glass of Grüner Veltliner. Pure enjoyment!

Preparation method
- Rub a caquelon or cast iron fondue pot with garlic. Pour the wine into the pan and bring to the boil while stirring.
- Reduce the heat and gradually add the grated or finely chopped cheese while stirring cheese add. The cheese must melt slowly to mix well with the wine.
- If necessary, the fondue can be thickened with cornflour dissolved in water or wine.
- Season the fondue with nutmeg and pour Cheesefondue in a preheated fondue pot and serve immediately.
How do you make a cheese fondue?

- Reduce the heat and gradually add the grated or finely chopped cheese.
- Continue stirring gently so that the cheese melts slowly and mixes well with the wine.
- Is the fondue too thin? Thicken it with some cornstarch dissolved in water or wine.
- Season with nutmeg.
- Pour the fondue into a preheated fondue pot and serve immediately.

Not all cheeses melt equally well. For a creamy and rich fondue, we recommend cheeses known for their excellent melting properties.
