Grass cheese, summer blend… For some cheeses, there is a specific season that perfectly suits the taste. In addition to the Dutch cheeses mentioned, these also exist as foreign cheeses.

Foreign cheese Autumn & Winter

What's better than fondue while it's getting colder outside? Cut some pieces of baguette, grill your favorite vegetables and complete a cool autumn or winter day with a delicious blend of different cheeses. The Swiss cheeses are very tasty for a great winter feeling. For example, try the Gruyére and the Emmentaler together. You can pick this up freshly grated at a shop nearby, or natural ready to buy. Also delicious with a small piece of Appenzeller.

Foreign cheese Spring & Summer

The fresh grass in the spring is really top quality. The good milk also makes the cheese even creamier. The top cheeses in the spring are therefore, without surprise, the very creamy cheeses such as the Camembert, Brie de meaux and the Munster cover.

Gorgonzola is an example cheese for the summer. This Italian cheese goes hand-in-hand with various summer salads with raspberries, nuts and basil, but is of course also a summer favorite on its own! Gorgonzola dolce has a mild taste and is therefore very suitable for use in soups and (pasta) sauces. The gorgonzola dolce is a delicious addition to your cheese board. Gorgonzola dolce is easily spreadable and is therefore often used for sandwiches. We add something Prosecco to the Gorgonzola, resulting in a soft, creamy and fresh blue-veined cheese. A unique combination that really ignites the summer feeling. Other good summer cheeses are the Epoisses and the Roquefort. Since these cheeses come from the mountain areas, the high quality of the grass in the summer is an absolute stunner.
