The Stolwijker matured is a farmer's cheese, made in the Zuid-Dutch Stolwijk. Full of flavour, creamy and slightly spicy. The cheese is made from raw cow's milk, which gives it the typical taste of a real farmhouse cheese. The Stolwijker cheese is prepared in a traditional way, with the majority of the work still being done by hand. The cheese is then naturally matured in 16-18 weeks, after which it is ready to go to the store. This traditional farmer's cheese is delicious for a sandwich, but is also delicious to eat on its own.
