Make a cheese board

When putting together a cheese board, you prefer to choose cheeses from different families. There are 5 different families: hard and semi-hard cheeses, white mold cheeses, red- en white rind cheeses, goat and sheep cheeses en blue cheeses. Which types you choose depends on taste and the experience of the cheese tasters. For example, for a beginner, choose some mild cheeses. For a good cheese board you need four to five cheeses; choose at least one mild one cheese, one semi-spicy cheese and one spicy cheese.

Serve cheese board

For the best taste experience, it is important to serve the cheese board at room temperature. Preferably use a wooden board and season the cheeses, from mild to spicy. Make sure that the cheeses do not touch each other to prevent flavors from spilling over. Serve a matching white or red wine with your cheese board and enjoy.
