Montbéliarde doesn't sound very Dutch, but this cheese really comes from the Netherlands. The name Montbéliarde comes from a well-known breed of cow. The name may sound French, but these cows simply graze on the Grebbeberg & Woudenberg in Utrecht. That also makes it real Dutch cheese.

Master Affinors

This small-scale cheese factory in Rhenen is equipped to produce cheese in a traditional way. Due to the small scale, one can work here with precision & perfection. This is also necessary, since untreated milk is used. As a result, the product risk is also much higher. The craftsmanship of cheese making really comes into its own here.

Maturation warehouse

The cheeses must of course also be aged for a while. The warehouses are equipped with ripening rooms where the cheese really has time to ripen. For example, there is no playing with tricks or tricks to make the cheese ripen faster. After the time has been reached, these cheeses can continue to their destination. This way we keep the lines short and the cheese stays fresh.

Original vs. Truffle

We currently offer two types of cheeses. The original cheese from our own cows, and the cheese from our own cows with a hint of truffle. The raw milk is processed into a delicious cheese together with the tasty truffle. This not only makes the cheese tastier, but also more beautiful to look at. A very special cheese that you can really enjoy. Delicious on a sandwich, but also on a cheese board with a tasty dip.
