Buy young cheese

We have a diverse young cheese range, so that there is something for everyone. Including real Gouda, Noord-Dutch and also farm punishment. From May we also sell grass cheese. Usually the cows go outside again in mid-April and we can enjoy delicious fresh grass cheese four weeks later (cheese needs at least 28 days to ripen). Grass cheese has become a true delicacy and is made from the first milk that cows give after eating fresh spring grass. The first grass in the spring can contain up to twice as much sugar as during the rest of the year. This gives the special taste to grass cheese. This cheese is softer and creamier than the milk of cows that are fed hay and brix in the stable. Grass cheese is not only so popular because of its creamy taste, but also because the pasture cows contain higher nutritional value. Grass-fed cheese contains more unsaturated fats and the amount of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is higher. Delicious on bread or as a snack.
