The young matured cheese has a wonderfully soft and creamy taste. Compared to young cheese, it is slightly fuller and has a slightly salty taste. Young matured cheese is one cheese which almost every cheese lover likes to eat and is therefore the real favorite on the sandwich. It has a ripening process of 8 to 10 weeks, the longer the ripening process, the stronger the taste of the cheese. We cut the young cheese fresh from the knife and can, if desired, vacuum pack it. All cheeses that are ordered online are vacuum packed as standard.

Buying young matured cheese

We have a diverse assortment of young matured cheese, so that there is something for everyone.
Such as real Gouda cheese (this is traditionally prepared from the milk of cows that roam freely in the Gouda area) or Noord-Dutch cheese.
There is a clearly noticeable difference in taste between Gouda cheese and Noord-Dutch cheese.. Compared to regular Gouda cheese, is Noord-Dutch cheese has a fuller and creamier taste at a young age and has the cheese a fruity sweetness. In addition Noord-Dutch cheese is naturally less salty, because it needs to be brine for a shorter period of time. This ensures that the cheese is a bit smoother than regular Gouda cheese (less crumbly).
